Day 1 - 29 th May, 2010

An exciting day at palampur, started with arrival of Mr. Uday Mittal. After a small rest at the Hotel, we started with asmall discussion for dividing the respective responsibilities. Starting with preparation of temporary ID cards we thengave a visit to the site where we had to setup our stall next day. It took half an hour to analyze the Location and finalizethe spot. Next challenge with us was to have clearance for the setup. Luckily we were able to meet the college principaland within few minutes of discussion he was convinced to give us the permission for setting the stall within collegepremises. In the mean while Mr. Kuldeep Rojhe also reached Palampur , we got together for dinner and planned our

next day course of Action. After a long discussion we framed a blueprint for the coming day. The weather was pleasingand it was great feeling for us to have done dinner with Kuldeep and Uday sir. Then we departed to our respectivelocations.

Day 2 - 30 th May, 2010

It was Sunday and HPCMAT exam was scheduled at 10 AM. Therefore we woke upearly at 5:30 am and after bidding farewell to Kuldeep sir we went to degree

college. Kuldeep sir left for Dharamshala to setup a stallthere at 6:30 in the morning. We hired a local guy as

he was the student of polytechnic college and waswell versed with the locality. Hukum Singh too

joined us at the college.

Then we had to arrange for chairs, table, Tent etc. It was a scintillating arena withpacked space. Lots of college from Himachal and nearby states had come to showcasetheir respective colleges. Therefore to be different, we bought plastic cups and

arranged for cold drinking water for students. It took us just 10 minutes to install thestall. We enjoyed the luxury of getting a large space near the front gate of the college.

Student parking was also located next to our stall. It helped us maximize our reach.

Students started reaching the place at 9:00 AM. We both took the position at bothsides of the Main gate and started distributing the pamphlets and got the enquiryforms filled. Uday sir guided us outstandingly and we were able to attract lot of

students to our stall. We also helped students to find their respective classes andwished best of luck to each and every one. The exam started at 10:00 Am thereforewe had to wait for the exams to finish. In the meanwhile we arranged for ice andTumbler to cool the glasses of mineral water. We also had the music system of ourcar running to attract nearby people. During the course of exam we tried to contactand promote our college to the guardians who had accompanied their wards to thecollege. In a short while our wait was over and students started coming out of thecollege. We had mixed response from students. It was a great learning experience aswell. The discussion with students/Parents and their critical feedback proved to behighly beneficial for us.

We received an outstanding response and slowly moved towards closing. Aftercongratulating each other we had to return the tent, chairs, table and tumbler. Uday sir has been highly encouragingand appreciative throughout. We dropped Uday sir and Hukum Singh in our car to Bus stand and happily returned back.

It was a great experience which we will cherish throughout our life . We would like to take this opportunity to thank ourcollege to provide us a chance to showcase our skills.
