To align with the Vision documents of GJEPC and to achieve the export target of 75 billion US$ by 2025, GJEPC’s MSME department is its own endeavour to reach to the MSME’s of the Gem & Jewellery Sector and strengthen them by way of make them aware about various facility available for manufacturer and encourage them to begin the export. This initiative is mainly to encourage MSME members as well as non-members to understand the norms and procedures of exports and banking which could help them to start exports. To drive this initiative and looking into the requirement of trade members, GJEPC has invited eminent speakers like bankers, MSME Ministry officials, Industry experts from time to time. We are glad to share this information that one of our speakers who was invited and nominated as advisor to PMO office to drive various MSME initiatives of Gems & jewelry sector , has given his presentation around 3-4 times free of cost to the Industry under the umbrella of GJEPC GJEPC is focusing across the country and driving various initiatives through HO and regional offices across the Country. In the month of December 2019, MSME DI Madhya Pradesh has agreed to sign an MOU with GJEPC to promote the MSME activities across the state of MP We hope this report will be useful for the trade and encourage them to actively participate in such activities like Seminars and training workshops on Export, Banking, Skill Development and Market research which will help them amplify their exports and business. HO has approached to around 1200 plus MSME non-members
