In addition to the extremely popular Crafty’s giant beer tent in Leys Square, you can also visit one of our many mobile bars located across the town, serving a wide variety of drinks including cider, prosecco, gin and a range of other spirits. For wine lovers, you can also head to La Concha from 3pm to 6pm for some wine tasting.

Take a stroll down Leys Avenue and Eastcheap to sample a whole host of world dishes. From Mediterranean, Thai, Jamaican, Indian, Italian, Spanish, German, British, American and Chinese to a range of dessert stalls displaying mouthwatering crepes, cheesecake, churros and handmade Italian ice cream, there really is something for everyone!

There are a host of free children’s activities taking place during the festival weekend. From spotting their favourite character mascots on the move around town and giant board game fun such as Jenga and Connect 4 on Eastcheap, to face painting and Garden Square Shopping Centre’s Kitsch Kafé family show, there really is something for every child! And this year, we’re running a Wordsearch Trail for the little ones on Broadway and Arena Parade which ends near Broadway Gardens where children can enjoy our extremely popular funfair, open throughout the weekend.

Enjoy the cider celebrations in The Wynd throughout the weekend, with an outdoor cider bar serving specials on draft from across the UK, live music and locally produced bar snacks.

Come down to The Wynd on the Saturday for a FREE beer yoga taster session. You’ll learn different yoga poses while drinking your favourite brew - ideal for those wishing to explore yoga in a fun and relaxed social setting. No yoga experience is necessary, just an open mind and a love of beer. Don’t forget to bring your own beer bottle! *Please note that spaces are limited.

Transition Town Letchworth will be in The Wynd on the Saturday to press your apples for you and return your very own juice to you! Just bring along your own apples and some clean containers for the juice. This service is free but donations to costs are always welcome.

Dogs Trust will be on hand on Leys Avenue throughout the festival weekend to introduce visitors and their dogs to their fun Dog School Confidence Course. You will have the opportunity to meet experienced and qualified Dog Trainers for hints and tips on how to teach cool tricks. You can also find out more about their training classes which take place in Mrs Howard Memorial Hall every Saturday morning! Don’t forget to bring along your dog’s favourite treats!

Dog School brings positive, friendly and fun training classes to you, your family and your dog. The team at Dog School want to help your dog learn, adapt and be confident and happy to enjoy life. They focus on teaching life skills that will be useful in everyday life for dogs and owners and build the owner-dog bond which is so important for working and living happily together. Dog School’s puppy, adolescent, adult and rescue dog classes are designed so dogs of all ages can come along. The classes cover the scientific knowledge that leads to the very best dog training methods, mixed with fun, friendly and welcoming guidance. They are run weekly by qualified team of coaches, who are knowledgeable, vibrant and enthusiastically awaiting to meet you and your dog. These classes will provide you with an array of knowledge and skills to help understand your dog’s behaviour and train your pooch on the road to success to being a polite, well mannered doggy citizen of Hertfordshire.
