Big emphasis on teaching and learning• Teaching students to – Think for themselves– Know ‘what makes a good learner?’– Know what to do when they don’t know what to do– Know where to use skills elsewhere, not in isolation– Have the ability to connect ideas together– Know how to be ‘assessment capable’ – to understand

their progress and how to move forward– Make the best use of their time in a 30 hour working

week plus homework

Involving parents

Your college is outstanding … a warm and

personal place where every student is

noticed, helped and motivated to move

forward to their best ability. I am so

grateful to you all for accepting my two

kids: they have both matured, gained

knowledge and thrived academically.

Thank you! -a parent 15/6/2015
