Good evening seniors and residents of hall 2, my name is Evangeline Ng from the School of Art, Design and Media, and I am running for the position of Publicity Secretary for the 33rd JCRC. Intro My achievements A bit about myself, I was formerly from Pasir Ris Secondary School. Art was one of my subjects, and it was through this first exposure that I made the decision to carry on doing Art in JC and University. Back then, I took art classes at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts on weekends on top of the five days of school per week. I was the vice-chairman of our school’s Art Club as well. Art is my passion, and I constantly strive to improve myself. In JC (I was from SR by the way), I learnt the meaning of perseverance. H2 Art was a lot of suffering, a lot of sleepless nights, and a lot of time spent in tears. Those of you who have taken H2 Art may understand what I mean. Sometimes our efforts will be rewarded. Sometimes they won’t. The experience was painful but I learnt that I’m stronger than I thought I was, and I can overcome situations I didn’t initially think I could. Even though it’s only been a month since I’ve entered hall 2, being part of this family really makes me feel like I'm living in a kampong, in the sense that when I 'book in' on sunday night, instead of feeling tired I feel happy to be back when I see all the faces of my og. This place has not only become my 2 nd house, but my 2 nd home. Im not normally an outspoken person, but I feel a need to strive and work hard to serve the hall. In this journey with the 33rd jcrc I hope to pick up new skills and contribute to the best of my abilities. If elected, Itogether with the publications secretary, united as hall 2 publications , and raise the quality of our documentations with regards to hall 2's culture and lifestyle, and perhaps achieve a level of prominency comparable to the other prides of hall 2. Please guide me along the way and I hope to learn as much as I can and serve the hall to the best of my abilities.

Good evening seniors and residents of hall 2, my name is Evangeline Ng from the School of Art, Design and Media, and I am running for the position of Publicity Secretary for the 33rd JCRC.

IntroMy achievements

A bit about myself, I was formerly from Pasir Ris Secondary School.

This place has not only become my 2nd house, but my 2nd home.

Thank you
