    P roject UpdateI have been in contact with Jen Kodis of the Amos House, who thinks there is potential tostart a group lending initiative for members in the Amos House s Transitional Jobs P rogram,specifically for carpentry and masonry trainees that have cannot paid court/traffic fines thatare preventing them from getting their driver s licenses back and therefore preventing themfrom getting certain carpentry/masonry jobs.

    I am having a meeting next week with Stephen Celico about entrepreneurship opportunitiesfor ex-offenders in P rovidence, and to explore possibilities for collaboration through (group)lending initiatives.CGF director Andy P osner and I are looking into more organizational approaches to contractout loan officer responsibilities to community members. I am meeting with Kelly Ramireznext week from Social Venture P artners Rhode Island to learn more about her vision of socialinclusion through contracting NGO work to local community members, and to see how this

    can play in with group lending and loan officers roles.I am also looking into group lending opportunities for homeless groups in P rovidence that areorganizing.
