When planning and producing my magazine, there were many different things I needed to think about before that would make it relate and attract my target audience. One thing I did was use well known drum and bass artists on the front cover. The reason I did this is because if there are well known names of people open the front cover, it is likely to attract people to have a closer look at what the magazine is about. This will mean there is a better chance that the person who is looking at the magazine will buy it as it contains some artists they listen to. I also promoted summer festivals such as Reading, Hideout and Lovebox. These are some of the biggest festivals that people attend in the summer. If they see them being promoted on a magazine, it will attract them to have a closer look and hopefully make them buy it. When creating the magazine, all i done was put in articles and headlines that would appeal to me and because I am someone who listens to drum and bass music, I hope it would attract other people who like it as well.
