As you can see, the connection is distinguished. The arrangement, font size and font colour of the two ancillary products are very similar. One factor worth looking at is the similar type of pictures used. My print advert is a medium close which is similar to the second inside cover of my digi-pak. Also the font is also similar. The text ‘in my own words’ in my print advert is similar to the text of ‘shyne’ in my digi-pak. There is a similar level of drop shadow and brings forth the same kind of effect to the image.

One of the effects that I have used that connect the digi-pak with the music video is the use of the trimming/split screen effect. In the music video it has more of an effect as it makes the shot more realistic of a music video of RnB genre. I have used the effect on this same effect on the front cover of the digi-pak which again makes the image attractive as the front cover of an album will be the first part of the album a consumer would see before buying the product.

These two images are very similar in terms of camera shots. They are taken for more or less the same angle. They are taken from the left angle although the shot from the music video is slightly towards the centre a little bit. Both of these shots are also medium close ups although it can be argues that the shot from the music video is a medium shot. This is done to see the facial expression and body posture of the protagonist which implies that he is depressed and in emotional status. You can see this through his facial expressions as his mouth is closed his jaws clinked together and his eyes are not fully open.

Overall, my music video and print advert help advertise and promote the digi-pak (album cover). My music video does this by allowing the audience to acknowledge who the protagonist is. It also presents a clear narrative to the audience which allows them to buy the album. It bring the protagonist fame. It also put him on the market.

My print advert helps advertise and promote the album cover by allowing the audience to acknowledge that this protagonist form the music video is going to perform live. In this sense the music video promotes the print advert because by watching the video they know who the protagonist is, so when the audience see the print advert, the protagonist is easily recognisable.
