By democratising science through the distribution of accessible, unbiased and up to date research, stakeholders are informed on drugs and drug-taking for the betterment of individual and societal wellbeing.

�e Drug Science Medical Cannabis Working Group (MCWG)

The MCWG is a consortium of Drug Science experts and academics, policy specialists and leaders of patient advocacy groups alongside industry partners. The group’s aim is to improve and accelerate access of medical cannabis in the UK for the people who need it the most.

The MCWG is a sub-group of Drug Science, enabling the charity to engage a consortium of industry partners as important stakeholders alongside independent expertise, whilst retaining its independence and credibility. As per Drug Science’s policy, no company engaging with the MCWG will have any influence over the groups’ processes or outcomes. Drug Science, and any sub-group of Drug Science, will only ever publish clear, evidence-based information without political or commercial interference.
