Before I start, does anyone know what Euthanasia is?

Euthanasia is a good and easy way to the

patients who suffered the pain of terminal

disease.

Some people argued that euthanasia should be illegal

because they considered euthanasia as suicide, however,

some people think euthanasia is a liberation to patients who have

terminal disease.

Reason why people agree with euthanasia

• For incurable patients, it is a good way to liberation.

• For patients’ family, they have less burden in money and life

• For country, it would reduced resource wastage.

• My friend’s grandfather had lung cancer.• Chemotherapy• They should take care of him every hours • Feel painful in his lung• Can not breath without Oxygen mask• Died in painful• Cost them $500,000

For patients’ family, they have less burden in money and life

God create everything on the earth.

God has supreme dominion of His creation (include humans) and there is a purpose for human suffering.

THE Christian POSITION

• The Jews believe that the decision of whether a machine is prolonging death is up to a doctor, but if the removal of the machine is interrupting life, then the decision no longer rests in the hands of the doctor, but in the hands of God.

THE JEWISH POSITION

• Everyone has the right to live and enjoy the life

We cannot give him euthanasia even though a patient got terminal disease and could only live for 6 months. Why don’t we let them enjoy the last 6 months?

Even the patient required, we still cannot euthanise him.

It is against human right

Seriously ill girl who won the right to die has changed her mind and wants transplant

Example

• It is regarded as murdering

It will cause many social problems

A son may euthanise his father as he can get heritage early, even though his father still have the chance to be cured.

A doctor may give a patient euthanasia without salvage.

A doctor might suggest the patient euthanasia if the patient had no money.

It may cause more needless death

• A good way to liberation• Save money • Reduce resource wastage
