What is the message?

The risks of noise go beyond hearing loss (synergy with other workplace factors).

Noise goes beyond traditionally ‘loud’ industries – it can affect millions of workers in the service sector (entertainment, education, call centres etc).

Noise is a complex issue and can be a problem in any workplace but it can be tackled successfully.

2003 EU directive which sets new noise exposure limit is to be implemented in Member States by Feb 2006
