DATA & METHOD USED• Art 17 data of 2001-2006• Excluded: species listed in Annex V only Atlantic region: 120 habitat types and 226 species covered

o birds data not in the analysis

• Clustering of habitat types and species– so called “Baseline grouping” used as a basis to

produce adjusted habitat grouping for Atlantic region (as for the Pilot Seminar)

– some habitat types & species may appear in 2 different groups
