Influence: Prepare statements from EU Committee positions on questions and issues which are of importance for the sector. Conduct lobbying activities and represent the common interests of members in relation to the European institutions. Assist and advise members concerning all aspects of European policies relating to the public transport sector. Acquire and manage European Research and Innovation projects reinforcing priorities for the sector. Translate politically the “Grow with Public Transport” approach. In Central and Eastern Europe Regularly inform EU Member States from Central and Eastern Europe about the latest European legislation and funding opportunities. Organise national-level events and workshops on all aspects of public transport, adding real value to member’s daily activities and operations. Support public transport initiatives and projects developed by members in that region.
