Thank you for expressing an interest in gasworld’s Europe Industrial Gas Conference taking place this May in Budapest, Hungary.
gasworld last visited the region in 2010, when Kiev, Ukraine was the venue for discussion and debate concerning the trends, challenges and rising potential of the Eastern Europe industrial gas business.
Leading on from this event, gasworld’s 2015 conference will explore the developments and opportunities within the wider European market since then. In a highly competitive market, with challenging times upon us, we are all working towards one goal, growth.

Important points to note
It is the policy of gasworld to comply with the letter and spirit of US antitrust law and similar laws in the UK and Europe. gasworld’s principal objective is to educate and inform industrial gas professionals and the gases community.
gasworld conferences shall not be used, or risk being seen to be used, as a forum for the discussionof business secrets. gasworld conferences must always be conducted in a manner that avoids even the appearance that its delegates are taking common action that might restrict competition.
gasworld antitrust policy is similar to that of US, UK, and European Industrial Gas associations, which prohibit any discussions or exchange of information that might constitute or imply an agreement or collusion concerning:

Hungary is part of the European Union (EU), and everyone entering the country is required to have a valid passport. American, Canadian and EU passport holders can stay in Hungary for up to 90 days without a visa, as long as the passport is valid for at least three months beyond the visit.

Can I smoke?The hotel has a no smoking policy within the building. Smoking is allowed outside the building in special designated areas. Smokers should enquire about these areas on arrival.
What is the dress code for the event?We would like you to dress in whatever way you feel comfortable. Typically our events promote the following dress code:

When should I get to the hotel?We advise you get to the hotel on the afternoon of Sunday 10th May, 2015. Registration beginsat 16:00 and the Promotional Booth area is open until 20:00. The welcome reception beginspromptly at 18:30.
When will I receive my delegate pack?You will receive your delegate pack and badge upon registering at the hotel. This will be in the conference area.
