REMEMBER: the gym will be open from 1 p.m., from Wednesday 16/11

1. During the whole event any student who willingly or grossly negligently damages

anything will be held responsible for the complete amount of the damage inflicted. 2. EUROSPORTEVENTS A.S.D. cannot take any responsibility for either sports accidents or self-inflicted accidents, thefts or losses of any kind. Please take care and look after

your belongings yourself.

RULES:

Respect – you are expected to behave appropriately. Please do not make noise when

coming into the gym or hotel from the party or damage things in the gym or in the Hotel. Food & Beverages – take care while handling food and drinks at the gym and the party

afterwards. WE INFORM YOU THAT SINCE OCTOBER 2007 IS FORBIDDEN TO ORDER AND DRINK ALCOHOLICS IN CLUBS AFTER 2 O'CLOCK AM!!!

Fairplay – in order for everyone to enjoy the games, to guarantee equal chances and to

secure your future participation in EUROMILANO, please be aware that Fairplay is requested from everyone. Please keep in mind: it’s a game, we don’t want you to

seriously hurt each other. Friendship – at EUROMILANO 2011 we would like to create an atmosphere of friendship

and understanding among the universities. This implies that you treat each other

respectfully. Tolerance – We just want everything will be perfect, but the organization of

EUROMILANO 2011 could suffer unexpected events or delays of the matches respect the timetable, depending on many reasons: be patient and flexible in your standing!

Communication – there will be a Help Desk where only the heads of delegation or team

leaders can ask information to our staff about the matches and the whole event, to avoid queue and work efficiently.

Please understand that we reserve the right to exclude participants who are strongly violating

these general rules of behaviour in order to ensure an environment in which everybody may feel relaxed and comfortable.

RULES OF EUROMILANO 2011

FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

Men: 8 teams, qualification round by pools of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday; the first 2 teams on quarter finals; semifinals and finals on Saturday.

Duration of matches:

Qualification rounds: 2x25 mn – mid-time 5 mn Finals: 2x25 mn – mid-time 5 mn

Warm up: 10 minutes Equipment: balls provided n° 5; shoes for outdoor

FUTSAL TOURNAMENT

Men: 28 teams, qualification round by groups of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday; the first 2 teams + the two best third (points, difference on goal, goal made) on 8th finals,

quarter, semi, and finals on Saturday. Women: 16 teams, qualification round by groups of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday;

the first 2 teams on quarter finals, semi, and finals on Saturday.

Duration of matches: Qualification round: 2x10 mn – mid-time 2 mn

Finals: 2x20 mn – mid-time 5 mn. The team has to be close to the field in time. After 5 mn of delay respect to the

planned timetable, the match is judged lost for the absent team.

BASKET TOURNAMENT

Men: 14 teams, qualification round by 1 group of 4 teams + 2 groups of 5 teams on

Thursday and Friday; the best 3 teams (pool of 5) + the best 2 teams (pool of 4) on quarter finals, semi, and finals on Saturday;

Women: 8 teams, 2 pools of 4 teams; semifinals, finals on Saturday.

Duration of matches: Qualification round: 2x10 mn – mid-time 3 mn

Finals: 4x8 mn male – 4x6 mn female - mid-time 3 mn Warm up: 5 minutes

The team has to be close to the field in time. After 5 mn of delay respect to the planned timetable, the match is judged lost for the absent team.

CHEERLEADING DANCE CONTEST

7 teams, there will be 3 professional judges.

Evaluation on: gymnastic and athletic, choreography and dance ability, timing and

rhythm, music choice, crowed enthusiasm. Time: minimum 4 / maximum 5 minutes each performance

PRACTICE: on Friday there will be the possibility to each cheerleading team to practice the routine

VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Men: 12 teams, qualification round by 3 pools of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday; the

best 2 teams of each pool and the 2 best third go on quarter finals, semifinals and finals on Saturday;

Women: 12 teams, qualification round by 3 pools of 4 teams on Thursday and Friday; the best 2 teams of each pool and the 2 best third go on quarter finals, semifinals and

finals on Saturday;

Duration of matches: Qualification round, quarter final and semifinal: 2 out of 3 sets of 15 points

Final ¾ place: 2 out of 3 sets of 15 points; Final ½ place: 2 out of 3 sets of 25 points Warm up: 5 minutes

The team has to be close to the field in time. After 5 mn of delay respect to the

planned timetable, the match is judged lost for the absent team.

TENNIS TOURNAMENT

10 teams, team tournament.

Matches Execution Matches: 1 single man, 1 single woman, 1 double mix

Games: 1 set at 6; 5-5 goes to 7; 6-6 goes to tie break Advantage: there is normal advantage during the games

Ranking: 1 point each match won; 0 point each match lost; Quarter finals: in case of 2-0, double mix won't be played

Semifinals – Finals on Saturday

CHALLENGE CUP

For each sport your teams will gain:

1ST place - 10 POINTS; 2ND - 7 POINTS;

3RD - 5 POINTS; 4TH - 3 POINTS

5th place - 6th place - 7th place - 8th place: 1 POINT

The university who’ll gain more points in all sports will keep the “Challenge Cup” for 1 year. If the university will win for three years (even not consecutive) the tournament, it

will hold the “Challenge Cup”.

Tournament direction is exclusive competence of EUROSPORTEVENTS STAFF. The

enrolment at the tournament implies the complete acquaintance and acceptance of this Regulation. EUROSPORTEVENTS A.S.D. declines each responsibility for incidental

accidents. The Referees are entrusted to the organizing staff and to the players fair play.

PRIZE MONEY

WINNER OF EUROMILANO 2011: CHALLENGE CUP + A CHEQUE OF 1.200,00 € 2ND PLACE: A CHEQUE OF 500,00 €

3RD PLACE: A CHEQUE OF 300,00 € (The cheques have to be used for the inscription of the university to EUROMILANO 2012)

FOR EACH TOURNAMENT:

1ST PLACE: TROPHY + MEDALS FOR ALL PLAYERS + CHEQUE of 400,00 euro

to be use for the inscription to EUROMILANO 2012 (for football male, futsal male and female, basketball male and female, volleyball male and female, cheerleading dance

contest); the winner of the tennis tournament will receive a CHEQUE of 200,00 euro to be use for the inscription to EUROMILANO 2012.

2ND - 3RD - 4TH PLACE: CUP FOR EACH TEAM

FAIR PLAY CUP:

For the best “fair play Team” of the tournament for each sport
