•The Kasbah Museum will be recognized as an active heritage protection centre of the old medina.•The documentation centre of the Siwa house will take care of the collected heritage, will be part of the network of CULTNAT and will visited and used by visitors and local population.•Children in Tangiers will continue playing with the didactic game.
