EuroDOCSIS 3.0 Advanced Wireless Voice Gateway Model: EVW32C

The EVW32C Advanced Wireless Voice Gateway marks the introduction of Ubee’s next generation WeMTA. EuroDOCSIS 3.0 and EuroPacketCable 2.0 compliant, the EVW32C integrates 4 products into a single device: a cable modem, a residential gateway with built-in 4-port gigabit Ethernet switch, an 802.11ac dual-band concurrent Wi-Fi access point, and a 2-line multimedia terminal adapter for telephony. The revolutionary new RF front end supports digitization of the entire 1 GHz cable spectrum. The EVW32C is well-suited to meet the contemporary demands of today’s residential and Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) subscribers.

High Data Rates - The built-in EuroDOCSIS 3.0 cable modem enables data transfer rates up to 1 Gbps downstream (DS) and up to 240 Mbps upstream (US). It can bond up to 24 DS and 8 US channels. The 1GHz full band capture front end allows for flexible channel assignment.

WI-FI Connectivity & Security - The residential gateway with an integrated 802.11ac access point gives users the flexibility to connect a variety of home and mobile devices. The optimized design of internal MIMO antennas enables high wireless connection speeds and extraordinary coverage.

Key Features & Benefits:Telephone Service - Supporting 2 analog devices such as telephones, answering machines or faxes, as well as standard CLASS features, the EVW32C is EuroPacketCable 1.0/1.5 compliant. It is software upgradeable to EuroPacketCable 2.0 and supports SIP (RFC3261).

Future Proof - The EVW32C is future-proofed by the introduction of an additional high performance applications processor running Linux. This enables the enhancement of the gateway by additional software features such as USB storage, DLNA Media Server, 3G/4G Fall Over and other applications. It is also designed to support various IPv6 standards such as Dual-stack, 6RD, and DS-Lite.
