CapacityBuildingAudit
After focusing mainly on direct health investments (infrastructure development) we have to bring HIA into play in health-related SF investments
We need to combine cost-reduced policies with investment policies to change the model of providing health services (using the credit crisis as a drive)
Being a partner in relevant other projects (for example FP7, Interreg) that help develop ideas, knowledge and experiences for project implementation
Challenges - Results 1
Not every stakeholder has a clear idea about his or her own needs regarding applying or managing health-related SF projects in the health sector
“Would be good to have a partner search facility for health programmes to find other EU partners”
Challenges - Results 2
Holistic Capacity Building is needed towards intersectoral co-ordination and collaborative working
Further research is needed about the determinants of health and it’s impact on inequality
Alternative funding resources like EU SF plays a more important role after the economic crises - knowledge about these funding resources and the possibility to apply for them has to be further increased (Master class and workshop experiences)
Further assessment of the situation on the needs of stakeholders has to clarify the issues and priorities , because the lack of information hinders a full understanding of the real need of the stakeholders
Implications 1
During Capacity building audit we will further research and analyze the main findings
Feedback about the findings/results of the online survey
