WhereareweintheEnvisionEugeneprocess?2.Overthebulkof2010,EnvisionEugenecollectedcommunityinputthroughworkshops,surveys,artcontestsandaCommunityResourceGroup.ThatinputinformedthecreationofadraftproposalEnvisionEugene:ALegacyofLivability.ThedraftproposalwasreleasedonMarch2,2011.Ayearoftechnicalanalysisfollowedtorefineourlandneedsfordifferentkindsofhousing,jobs,parksandschools.InMarch2012,theDraftRecommendationwaspublished,includingaproposedurbangrowthboundaryandmorespecificstrategiesforaccommodatinggrowth.TheRecommendationwasconsideredbytheCityCouncilatworksessionsinJune2012,andcouncilactiononJune13directedstafftobeginpreparingformaldocumentsforplanadoption.
