Who We Are Welcome to one of the fastest growing induction heating companies in the
world. For over 15 years Interpower Induction has provided world class
induction mass heating equipment and systems with the highest level of
technology available and a personal service unmatched by anyone else in
the industry. This unique combination of advanced induction technology
and service is a competitive advantage built into everything we provide –
giving you more power to compete in your industry.
We have now established Interpower Induction Europe, a joint venture
manufacturing and service centre, where we are able to provide the full
range of Interpower products and local service in Europe.
Interpower Induction Europe can provide full engineering support and coil
service by skilled staff with in excess of 30 years experience in induction
heating. In addition Interpower Induction Europe offer induction melting
through our sister company Melting Solutions Ltd.
What We Do Interpower Induction systems are installed worldwide for applications
primarily in mass heating, ranging from heating billets that are round, RCS
(Round Corner Square), square, welded tong holds to long bars, heating
of bar ends, plate, rebar, tube/pipe/conduit, and wire. In addition, there
have been hundreds of machines supplied for other applications, such as
annealing, brazing, bending, bonding, curing, coating, coining, crystal
growing, densification, hardening, sintering, and tempering.
Today, we serve hundreds of customers worldwide in forging, automotive,
truck and bus, wind turbine, aerospace, military, railroad, hand tools,
mining, marine and farm machinery and off road vehicle manufacturing
industries.
Zone Control™ We also credit our growth to the development of a unique line of
advanced induction heating equipment and accessories including our
exclusive “Zone Control” technology for billet heating. Instead of one large
power supply inverter with the output power distributed across an entire
coil line, the large inverter is broken down into sections and each section
is connected to a coil. Power is then managed to optimise the power
usage across the line and permit advanced operational features. There
are many benefits from zone control technology, including energy savings
from improved process control.

Bar Heating System
Bar End Heating System
Bar End Heating Systems
Interpower Induction offer a range of induction bar end heaters with different coil options to achieve the customer’s required through-put. Dependent on the range of components and the required production rates, we can advise the best options for heating the component range. Options include:
Channel or skid coil, the basic replacement for the traditional fossil fuel furnace, heats the component, making the process less time consuming. The typical channel coil has open ends to allow fast production rates and 30 ends / minute is not unusual for this type of induction coil with an automated handling system.
The more efficient oval coil has closed ends and the component has to be pushed in and out of the coil. Maximum production rate depends on the loading and unloading.
Interpower Induction Europe can offer the complete helicoil (helical coil) range of bar end heaters, from a single station to multiple stations, manual, semi or fully automatic. All systems are designed for tough forging environments and are user friendly.

The Interpower POWER-LINK 3.0 High Frequency Power
Supplies are all solid-state units employing the latest state
of the art technologies in both power and control electronics.
The units are specifically designed to operate in the
harshest of environments and will provide long term
trouble-free operation.
The basic concept of the units employs a special type of power
transistor called IGBT (Insulated Gate Bi-Polar Transistor) to
allow absolute turn-on and turn-off even at high operating
frequencies. The ability to turn off these devices at any time
during the operating cycle makes this one of the most reliable
systems on the market today.
The control strategy allows for power, voltage or current
control. The power supply can run over a wide range of
frequencies set by the configuration of the heat station.
Our standard scope of supply consist of the units along
with a line disconnect switch, power components,
solid-state controls, and all operator controls and
safety devices.
Energy Saving Power Supplies
Power Supply Range 5 to 5,000 kW, IGBT (Transistor) and SCR Technologies Mains frequencies from 50 Hz to 50 kHz
