    1 S!o#e

The present document specifies the standards for sinallin transport to be used across M* and M3 interfaces. M*interface is a loical interface between the e'0 and the M12. M3 interface is a loical interface between the M12 and

the MM2. The present document describes how the M*>P sinallin messaes are transported over M*- and how theM3>P sinallin messaes are transported over M3.

    2 Reere&!e

The followin documents contain provisions which- throuh reference in this tet- constitute provisions of the presentdocument.

/eferences are either specific (identified by date of publication- edition number- version number- etc.) or

    non>specific.

7or a specific reference- subseBuent revisions do not apply.

7or a non>specific reference- the latest version applies. &n the case of a reference to a 3GPP document

(includin a G"M document)- a non>specific reference implicitly refers to the latest version of that documentinthe same Release as the present document.
