ETP - ONSHORE CRUDE OIL
EXPLOIT ATION AND
PROCESSING
CHALLENGE / OPPORTUNITY
TANFLOC Organic Vegetable
Coagulant from Renewable Resources
Cationic Coagulant / Flocculant for
Water and Wastewater
TANAC
A downstream unit, located in the north-eastern region of
Brazil, which had a total daily flow of up to 70,000 m³, had to treat
its effluent from the production and injection processes (onshore
well for oil expulsion).
After the effluent had undergone the water/oil separation
process (API and demulsifiers) the water still had an oil and
grease content of 60 to 100 ppm, while the limit for discharge is
20 ppm.
The use of Ta n f l o c reduced the content of oils
and greases in the effluent to 10 ppm, thus fully reaching the
desired goal.
APPLICATION FLOWCHART
Located in southernBrazil, Tanac is theworld’s largest producer of mimosa vegetableextracts.
Tanac combines qualityproducts and services withenvironmentalpreservation at all stagesof the tannin productionprocess.
Channelling strengths toreach common targetspermanently involves allthe members of the Tanacteam. ISO 9001, ISO14001, FSC an NSFcertifications are the resultof team work.
A quality product rangedeveloped to satisfy theneeds of the company’sclients and guarantee bestresults together withprompt delivery andpermanent technicalassistance: this is Tanac’sprofile.
