Forgedconstruction

lindwormLindworm was built to be as universal as possible, with a width of 114 mm and a lenght of 530 mm. Forged neck for an un-failing resistance to chocks and improved production linear-ity (never a single mistake of angle during the production).

With its weight of only 1370g (with brake and axle), this deck is one of the lightest decks out on the market. But it also has a great balance, mainly forward, giving it a superior spin.

The aluminium alloy used is 6082 heat treated (T4/T6) which is 10% more re-sistant than 6061 which is usually used in

the conception of high quality decks.

In order to create the merrow fork, we used 7075 T4/T6 forged aluminium alloy which the strongest existing aluminium alloys. It is generally used to answer to extreme pressures and forces.

As the extreme strenght of that alloy makes it impossible to weld, the fork is forged into one single piece of aluminium, then treated to limit the number of weak points of the part.

The use of that very strong material allowed us to dig into the alloy in order to make it as light as possible. With only 228g, it is today the lightest scooter fork on earth.

Merrow integrates steel spacers for a more durable rolling, and a headset ring to make it easier to mount on decks with integrated headsets.

Manufactured from 4130 Chro-Mo heat treated steel, the almasty bar is the first bar with forged gussets. Adding to that an integrated clamp, a 3° backsweep, butt-ed on the top tube (thickness variation), you get a bar gathering a good part of what is possibly doable on a steel bar to make it light, durable and easy to handle.

Forged gussetsForging the gussets allows us to makes them thicker : better looking, more comfort and strong resistance.

Butted top tubesIn order to save some weight and to offer a better spin, the steel is refined at the end of the top tubes.

Integrated clamp*In order to save some weight and some money for the rider, we integrated a that clamp which is really optimized for this bar, and we think it looks really sick.
