The Prophet EnochBy faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had

translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Hebrews 11:5

The Prophet ElijahAnd it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and

horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 2 Kings 2:11

The Lord has given me a view of other worlds. Wings were given me, and an angel attended me from the city to a place that was bright and glorious. The grass of the place was living green, and the birds there warbled a sweet song.

The Hubble Space TelescopeScientists have discovered these galaxies using the Hubble Space

Telescope. These galaxies are over 10 thousand million light years

from Earth. The universe is truly infinite in size and beauty.

The Great ControversyThe great controversy is ended.

Sin and sinners are no more. The entire universe is clean. One

pulse of harmony and gladness beats through the vast creation. From Him who created all, flow

life and light and gladness, throughout the realms of

illimitable space. From the minutest atom to the greatest world, all things, animate and

inanimate, in their perfect beauty and perfect joy, declare that God is

love.

[Great Controversy, page 678]

Page 12: Eternal Life In Heaven

We all entered the cloud together, and were seven days ascending to the sea of glass, when Jesusbrought the crowns and with His own right hand placed them on our heads. He gave us harps of gold and

palms of victory. Here on the sea of glass the 144,000 stood in a perfect square. Some of them had verybright crowns, others not so bright. Some crowns appeared heavy with stars, while others had but few. All

were perfectly satisfied with their crowns. And they were all clothed with a glorious white mantle fromtheir shoulders to their feet. [Early Writings , page 60]

Ascending To HeavenThe Milky Way galaxy is a spiral galaxy 100 thousand light years in diameter. If the galaxy were to shrink down so small that the Earth was one millimeter wide than the Milky Way would be 100 million kilometer’s wide. Because

the galaxy contains about 150 thousand million Suns we can only see just a few of the many wonders it contains during this day. This will wet our appetite for further exploration during the thousand years and beyond. We will be spending two and a half hours looking at each sight and ten minutes traveling time from place to place. To spend one

day looking at very star in our galaxy would take 411 million years.

Page 14: Eternal Life In Heaven

We take off and head towards the Rossette Nebulae, 3,400 light years away in the constellation ofMonoceros. Travelling at a speed of 6,500 million times the speed of light [46 Trillion kilometers per

second] we arrive in there in ten minutes. During those ten minutes we see stars and planets racing past us at the unbelievable speed of 11 Light Years per second. With our super vision we can zoom in and see up close any details we want to. Our new super powers are amazing to experiment with. We slow down to get a good look at the nebulae and

the hundreds of stars it contains.

Page 15: Eternal Life In Heaven

A globular cluster is a cluster of stars containing between 100 thousand to one million stars in a spherical ball shape up to 100 light years in diameter [It has a volume of 525 thousand cubic Light Years]. These stars are so

close together that they are only light hours apart from each other.

The Double Cluster In Perseus

Page 16: Eternal Life In Heaven

The nebulae in Carina contains the star Eta Carina that is 4 million times brighter than the Sun. This nebulae is 7,200 light years from Earth. Around the star is a large cloud of gas that has been ejected from the eruption on the star's surface.

The Emission Nebulae In Carina

Page 17: Eternal Life In Heaven

The Centre Of The Milky Way Galaxy

Finally we reach the core of the Milky Way Galaxy itself where 60 million suns fill an area sixty light years wide. Amazing! We spend some time here flying around and exploring these marvels of the universe. The central region of the galaxy is so

big it has a volume of 7 million cubic light years.

Page 18: Eternal Life In Heaven

The Rho Orphici NebulaeThis nebulae is eight light years wide contains the giant star Antares. As we get closer we see that this star is absolutely gigantic in size.

Ascending To HeavenOn each side of

the cloudy chariot are wings, and beneath it are

living wheels; and as the chariot rolls

upward, the wheels cry,

"Holy," and the wings, as they

move, cry, "Holy," and the retinue of angels cry, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty."

And the redeemed shout, "Alleluia!"

as the chariot moves onward

toward the New Jerusalem.

Page 21: Eternal Life In Heaven

All the treasures of the universe will be open to the study of God's redeemed. Unfettered by mortality, they wing their tireless flight to worlds afar. Worlds that thrilled with sorrow at the spectacle of human woe and rang with songs of gladness at the tidings of a ransomed soul. With unutterable delight the children of earth enter into the joy and the wisdom of perfect beings. They share the treasures of knowledge and understanding gained through the ages upon

ages in contemplation of God's handiwork.

Page 22: Eternal Life In Heaven

With undimmed vision they gaze upon the glory of creation-- suns and stars and systems, all in their appointed order circling the throne of Deity. Upon all things, from the least to the greatest, the Creator's name is written, and in all are the

riches of His power displayed.

Large Magellanic CloudThe commanders of the angel hosts, the sons of God, the representatives of the sinless worlds, are assembled.

The heavenly council before which Lucifer had accused God and His Son, the representatives of thosesinless realms over which Satan had thought to establish his dominion, all are there to welcome the Redeemer.

They are eager to celebrate His triumph and to glorify their King. [Desire of Ages, page 834]

We sat to top of a snow-covered peak and looked at the amazing sight before us. The view was like being on top of Mount Zion looking out over the world. We could see grass and mountain ranges for hundreds of miles.

Planet In A Far Distant Galaxy

Page 25: Eternal Life In Heaven

Exploring The UniverseHow long would it take to explore an entire galaxy? Let us suppose that you were to take one week exploring every star in

the galaxy and the Solar System that orbits it. The Milky Way galaxy contains 150 thousand million stars. If each star had a Solar System and we spend one week exploring it, it would take over 2,884 million years to complete. To explore all the

galaxies in our Local Group [17 galaxies] this way would take almost 10,000 million years. Some large clusters of galaxies like the Virgo cluster contain thousands of galaxies. Exploring such a super cluster fully would take a hundred times longer.

The Andromeda Galaxy

It is 170 thousand light years wide and contains about 300 thousand million stars. If the Earth were shrunk down so it was one millimeter wide then this galaxy would be 170 million kilometers wide.

Page 27: Eternal Life In Heaven

We slowed down and began descending through the atmosphere. the ground got closer and closer until we touched down on a field of soft grass. We all walked out of the fiery chariot and onto the grass and saw fruit trees and vines.

We sat down and had lunch on a huge grassy field.

Visiting Worlds In The Whirlpool Galaxy

Let the imaginations of the people be on the highest stretch to contemplate the glories of the New Jerusalem and yet they have but just entered upon the borders of the eternal weight of glory that shall be realized by the faithful overcomer. Put off thy shoes from off thy feet

for the ground whereon thou stands is holy. This is the very best answer I can give to your question. [This Day With God, page 103]

Page 29: Eternal Life In Heaven

There we shall know even as also we are known. There the loves and sympathies that God has planted in the soul will find truest and sweetest exercise. The pure communion with holy beings, the harmonious social life with the

blessed angels and with the faithful ones of all ages, the sacred fellowship that binds together "the whole family in heaven and earth"--all are among the experiences of the hereafter.

Heavenly Wonders

There every power will be developed, every capability

increased.

The grandest enterprises will be carried forward, the loftiest

aspirations will be reached, the highest ambitions realized.

And still there will arise new heights to surmount, new wonders

to admire, new truths to comprehend, fresh objects to call

forth the powers of body and mind and soul.

A Gigantic Super Galaxy

Super Galaxy Abell 2029

The huge galaxy Abell 2029 is 800 thousand light years in diameter.

If the Earth were to shrink down so that it was one millimeter wide than in comparison this galaxy would be 8 thousand million kilometers wide and 60 thousand million kilometers

away.

Imagine how long it wouldtake to explore the two million

million stars it contains.

To spend one week looking at each one would take 40 thousand million

years.

This galaxy has a volume of 268 million trillion cubic light years.

Page 40: Eternal Life In Heaven

And the years of eternity, as they roll, will bring richer and still more glorious revelations of God and of Christ. As knowledge is progressive, so will love, reverence, and happiness increase. The more men learn of God, the greater will be

their admiration of His character. As Jesus opens before them the riches of redemption and the amazing achievements in the great controversy with Satan, the hearts of the ransomed thrill with more fervent devotion, and with more rapturous joy they sweep the harps of gold; and ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of voices unite to swell the mighty

chorus of praise. Great Controversy, page 678

Page 41: Eternal Life In Heaven

The Paradise Of GodThere are ever-flowing streams, clear as crystal, and beside them waving trees cast their shadows upon the

paths prepared for the ransomed of the Lord. There the wide-spreading plains swell into hills of beauty, and the mountains of God rear their lofty summits. On those peaceful plains, beside those living streams,

God's people, so long pilgrims and wanderers, shall find a home. Great Controversy, page 675
