    College Care Package Time: Let the Goodies Roll!About this time of the fall, first year college students are beginningto feel a little homesick. A reminder that we miss them too is alwayshelpful! Sara Hennings, Maegen Mostellar, Katelyn Smith, andNatalie Baj sent rousing hoorays and thank yous to all whomade their care packages possible last year. Maegen continues togive back by volunteering with the ESUMC youth program and Girlson Track! Please help send the message that ESUMC cares! A boxfor college-friendly snacks (snack-size candy, cheese and peanutbutter crackers, pretzels, cookies, gum, mints, coffee and cocoapackets) will be in Fellowship Hall during the month of October. Wewill be sending 27 packages out including a letter from an ESUMCyouth group member.

    There will be no Sunday Night Program for the youth group onOctober 20th due to the Fall Retreat and Laser Tag youth eventtaking place on that day. The regular program will resume again onOctober 27th.

    Irving Abbey, a long-time member of ESUMC, recently went home tobe with the Lord. Sympathy cards may be sent to his widow, Edith

    Abbey, at 152 Maple Ave., South Bound Brook, N. J., 08880-1335.

    Stephen Ministry

Come join the ESUMC youth group and FamilyPromise as they host the third annual Mini-Golf event on Saturday,October 26th from 3 pm to 8 pm. Prizes for best costumes and golfscores as well as lots of surprises! Children should wear theircostumes and bring a trick or treat bag with them to collect treatsat every hole.
