• Myanmar Internet Exchange (MMIX) is to be set up by a group of ISPs.
• It was established in September, 2017, is a neutral, industry-owned Association
that provides IP peering facilities for its members.
• Posts and Telecommunications Department is being taken to establish National
Internet Exchange.

Conclusion; Brief about near future
government is striving to build up digital economy by upgrading all national sectors
into digital one.
the first stage is to upgrade needs of Myanmar’s economic infrastructure, to change
rules, regulations and policies, to upgrade human resources, to get work and
monetary resources and to create better economic environment.
the second stage, inviting international investments, trying to transfer technologies
from international companies, performing emergence of inventions in the country,
encouraging the emergence of startup companies and planning to make national
income by basically building up digital economy.
