Beneficiaries : Nearly 90% of the students
are BPL students.
June 27, 1999 : The foundation stone was blessed.
March 18, 2001 : The V. T. I. was blessed.
November 30, 2002 : Inaugurated by his Excellency Guy
Trouvroy, Ambassador of Belgium.
May 06, 2002 : Accredited Vocational Institution
(AVI) to NIOS.

VISION
To build a socially progressive & economically empowered communities

young men and women.
OBJECTIVES
Conducting NIOS courses in 13 trades.
Offering long term and short term courses in 20 trades (3 & 6
months & 1 year)
To provide quality Vocational Training especially for the youth so
as to enable them to be employed or self employed and thereby
become self reliant and useful members in the society.
We equip people with professional skills and human qualities
necessary to meet the over growing demands of the employment
market.
Networking with NGO’s.

Achievements:
• D.B.Y.K past trainees are in all walks of life.
• Passed out trainees have been pioneers in micro enterprises and Govt. sector.
• Accredited Vocational Institution (AVI) to NIOS, Ministry of Human Resources
Development (MHRD) Government of India on May 06, 2002 in 09 trades.
• Approved certificate course in Desk Top Publishing by NIOS MHRD
Government of India on June 11, 2003.
• Trained over 8000 trainees from 1999 to 2010.
• For the past two years the students who benefit our service have gone up to
nearly 1000.
• This only goes on to show how people value our education and the way we
come across to them. There is a felt change found in the attitude and out look of
the people towards society and life at large. Girls are found to be moving around
more than before and trying to do a job and earn a living.

• Application forms are available from May 1.
• Last date for the submission of the application
forms - June 30.
• Interviews are conducted in the last week of June
and in the first week of July.
• Training commences from July 3 Week.
• Courses are open to boys and girls according to
their capacities and eligibility

• Certificate Accredited by NIOS, MHRD Govt. of India.
• Institute provides quality Vocational Training to the trainees
so as to enable them to get employed / self employed and

deprived the local population of good education.

Fees
A. Annual Fees (One time)
Admission Fee : 150.00
Maintenance Fee : 300.00 / 150.00 (1 Year / Six months)
B. Monthly Fees
Tuition Fee : Depends on the Trade
NIOS fees is to be paid one time and it depends on the fee
structure provided by the NIOS.
Internal Scholarship will be decided by the Management depending on

Awards & Scholarships
• Awards (Certificates and Prizes) are given to
trainees of each department at the end of the year
according to their performances.
• Scholarships are given to trainees only after having
done a sufficient verification into the matter, to
their economic status, application to study and work
& good character & social relationship.
CAMPUS LIFE
Academic
Trainees who have not well educated are helped and motivated to do further studies.
Sports
Institute has moderately a good playground. Students have begun to make use of
the facilities available

Exposure trips to industries, market surveys, participated town competitions and exhibitions

Held regularly: Awareness, EDP, Development Programmes & Life coping skills
with collaboration with Youth Reach, Prerna, Manas Foundation etc.

advertisements, campus interview and personal contacts.

DB Tech is a network of 125 Don Bosco skilltraining centres spread across 25 states in the countrymaking it the largest NGO in livelihood training inIndia. All the centres provide employment linked,market – oriented vocational training of shortduration to the economically and sociallymarginalised youth.
DB TECH – SKILLING INDIA
Production department is the employment andlivelihood for the poor and marginalised section ofthe society. School uniforms include socks andwoolen garments supplied all over India.
