The Young Lawyers’ Division of the W-BLLA is participating in
Wills for Heroes is a Pennsylvania Bar Association program co-sponsored by the PBA Young Lawyers’ Division. “Wills for Heroes” provides free basic estate planning documents to first responders and military veterans in Pennsylvania. “Wills for Heroes” provides police, fire, emergency medical personnel, other first responders and military veterans—those on the frontlines for our personal safety—the tools they need to prepare adequately for the future.
On Saturday—February 22, 2020at the Public Service Training Building at LCC, Main Campus, Nanticoke, PA.
As part of this effort,the Wilkes-Barre Law & Library Association
is providing a training session to ALL Attorney Volunteers that will provide One (1) Hour of
Substantive FREE CLE Credit.

gram is sponsored by the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association for the Attorney Volunteers of the W-BLLA YLD “Wills for Heroes” to be held at the Public Service Training Building at Luzerne County Community College in Nanticoke, PA.
Again, the program is at the Public Service Training Build-ing at LCC in Nanticoke, PA. For those attorneys staying for the full duration of the training, this CLE program offers and is approved by the CLE Board for one (1) substantive con-tinuing legal education credit.
Wills for Heroes will start immediately following the train-ing and last from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The YLD, in conjunction with County Manager David Pedri, is hosting the annual Wills for Heroes event on Febru-ary 22, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Luzerne County Community College. Attorney volunteers are needed. There will be a 1-hour training from 9 a.m.-10 a.m., which will earn you 1 CLE credit. No experience in drafting wills is necessary. Lunch will be provided. Wills for Heroes programs provide essential legal documents free of charge to our nation’s first responders, including wills, living wills, and powers of attorney. By helping first responders plan now, they ensure their family’s legal affairs are in order before a tragedy hits. The 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit Wills for Heroes Foundation supports these Wills programs, giving back to the community and “protecting those who protect us.”
