The skin is the biggest organ in the human body and it has many important roles donein the body, in return, we have to take good care of our skin. The following are someimportant tips to have a healthier and smoother skin:

Moisturize - The skin is composed of 3 diverse layers: the epidermis or outermost layerof the skin; the dermis which is the central layer that has the blood vessels, oil and sweatglands and nerve endings; and lastly the hypodermis that is made up mostly of fat andhas hair follicles. Moisturizers aid the top layer maintains the moisture and this keepsthe skin to become smooth. The excellent time to put moisturizer is exactly after you wentout of the bath or shower. Apply the moisturizers while the skin is still clammy, so theskin will maintain that moisture in.
