Saying What You Are Going to DoWhen you talk about things you are planning to do in the future, use the phrase:

Práctica: Give the correct form of the verb IR to say what the following people are going to do.

These verbs follow the form for regular –_____verbs except in the______form.

Note that whenever a person is the object of a verb,

Like hacer and conocer, the verb oír (to hear) has an irregular yo form in the present tense.

•Some of its forms also require a spelling change

where the í becomes an y.

•Note that the nosotros and the vosotros forms

have accents.

You may hear the expression ¡Oye! Used throughout the dialog. It is used to get someone's attention, the way Hey! Is used in English.

To get Isabel’s attention Ricardo might say: -¡Oye, Isabel!
