ESF is a place where campers feel at home their very first year.
We, ESF Summer Camps, are pioneers in the camping industry with 31 years of experience. This summer, we celebrate our inaugural camp season at Riverdale Country School. ESF’s Commitment to Social ActionESF Dream Camp FoundationFounded in 1998, the ESF Dream Camp Foundation provides yearlong after-school mentoring and summer camp programs, free-of-charge to “at-risk” children from underserved areas of Hartford, CT and Philadelphia, PA. Since its inception, Dream Camp has provided over 5,500 scholarships to children. Dream Camp is made possible through the support of kind-hearted individuals, corporations and foundations. For more information, or to give to the ESF Dream Camp Foundation, please call 800.529.CAMP (2267) or visit esfdreamcamp.org.
ESF’s Leadership Development ProgramThe Young Leaders ProgramThe Young Leaders Program (YLP) is an exclusive “counselor apprenticeship” initiative for 16 and 17 year-old alumni campers and was launched in 2006 at Dream Camp Philadelphia. It was so successful that we expanded YLP to all our ESF locations. Site Directors nominate former campers who demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to community. Candidates then undergo an intensive interview process to qualify. Under the guidance and supervision of ESF leaders, YLP participants undergo extraordinary personal and professional growth.
