“Époque” meeting – O Mostrengo by Fernando Pessoa

“O Mostrengo” is a poem by Fernando Pessoa which tells the brave story of Portuguese people while discovering the world by the unknown sea. “Os Descobrimentos” is one of the most heroic acts of our nation. We were one of the firsts to sail “seven” fearful oceans, discovering exhotic lands and developing a strong empire. One of the biggest of world’s History.

The 10.ºE class analised and declaimed this poem in their Portuguese classes, hence the choice of using “O Mostrengo” as a Comenius activity.
