SINGLE or MULTI-ENTRY

The Verti-Scape Chute can be installed in such a manner that the same chute can be pconfigured in two ways.

SINGLE ENTRY

PRIVATE RESIDENCE Single Entry

Here we show a system that is kept in cupboard until needed, and still only takes three minutes to

tset up.

It is just a matter of pulling it out of storage, slipping it over the widow sill, tightening up the four pressure screws, then feeding the chute through the frame.

ROOF TOP EVACUATION – Single Entry

Here we mount the Escape Chute Storage/Deployment system on the roof, so that the chute container sits permanently over the edge.

MULTI-ENTRY Internal

An internal Multi-Entry Systems requires id ti l l di tl than identical clear area directly on the

floor below and continuously until ground level.

A minimum area would be 800 X 1200mm, but should the client wish we can place two, three, four or five chutes next to each other, this then would require a grater floor space.

A hole of approx 600m in diameter is cut into each floor, then a housing with an access door is constructed, from floor to ceiling to protect the chute.

The chute is inserted into the cut hole and is permanently deployed, there is no mechanical action to use the system, just sit down on the edge of the hole and enter the chute.

The chute will re-centre it’s self by the weight of the next user, coming down the chute.

MULTI-ENTRY External METS

A METS (Multi-Entry Tube System) is Steel Tube of approx 1400mm diameter manufactured to suite the height of each floor.

A hole is cut into the building wall at each level, to accept a passage way to the tube.

At each level a steel floor is insertedAt each level a steel floor is inserted with a hole in the centre to accept the chute.

If a tube down the full length of the building is not acceptable, then we can produce the same in either a square or hexagonal configuration.
