The Salvation Army is a Christian Church and Registered Charity that has long been associated with compassion-

ate work amongst families and the community, as a direct response to our commitment to God, and out of a desire to

reflect His love for all people.

We are very conscious of the desperate need of so many in our society who struggle daily simply to survive and provide

for those who rely upon them.

With this in mind, The Salvation Army have put together a holiday package designed to help those most in need of a

break from their normal environment.

This brochure sets out the package, and outlines the process which referring agencies need to follow when

recommending clients/families.

We currently have three six/eight berth caravans at Haggerston Castle Holiday Park, which is approximately

seven miles south of Berwick Upon Tweed.

The holiday park is managed by Haven Holidays.

Quoting the Park Manager …. “Towering above them all, Haggerston Castle combines a beautiful setting with top

quality entertainment and facilities that are sure to please everyone. Award winning parklands surround lovely lakes, providing a natural haven for wildlife. There’s a marvellous

family atmosphere with so much to do, ensuring there is never a dull moment – all the family will love it.

As well as an entertainment complex, swimming pool, tennis courts, pleasure lake, etc, the park also has it’s own super-market, restaurants and take-aways. Users have access to most of these activities via entertainment passes, which we

provide.

Each caravan is available on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday) from March to October.
