Please let the office know if your child would like this meal asap. Families Lunch We shall again be supporting Families week lunch on Monday 24 th May 2010. There is a choice of Ham & Cheese Tortelloni with French Bread, Pea & Sweetcorn Medley or alternatively Vegetable Curry and Rice. For Dessert is Chocolate Pudding with Chocolate Sauce. Please advise the office ASAP if you or a relative would like to join your child for lunch. Adult meals cost £2.40 Family Learning Afternoon On Thursday 13 th May 2010, we shall be throwing open our doors to a family learning afternoon specifically orientated around outdoor adventurous activities. It would be lovely for you to join us and you are very welcome to bring younger siblings and family along with you. This will start at 13.15 and is being organised by North Norfolk School Sport partnership. Family Learning Day - Thursday 17 th June Our children would like to invite you into our school on this afternoon to experience some Drama / Samba music / Clay modelling in action. We would encourage you to all turn up and join in!! All younger siblings and family members are invited to this “hands on” learning experience. Samba Music Both our classes are now involved in the Samba Music held every other Thursday. The children are working on a song together which is coming along beautifully – They shall be sharing this with you during our family day on 17 th June. Is your Child entitled to a free computer? Easter now feels like a distant memory as we look forwards to some exciting new activities happening soon at our school. Erpingham Class 2 and BVS Collaboration This is going well. Bure Valley have now joined our Class 2 Forest Schools sessions twice on a Tuesday morning. Our Y3 and 4 nurture group have worked along side BVS on a Tuesday afternoon and Y4’s going on a Wednesday afternoon will commence this week to do PE. North Norfolk Radio Well what wonderful representation we had from our brilliant children who were broadcast across North Norfolk last week in aid of smile week. They were great, with some wonderful messages for their parents and some very entertaining jokes and comments. Well done to all of the children! Summer Fete – Saturday 17 th July We shall be organising a summer fete this year- weather permitting. We will be holding a book stall, craft activity table, cake stall, face painting, and maybe even a hot dog stall along with a bouncy castle!! We would greatly appreciate any parents to help organise and help on the day with some of the activities. Please let a member of staff know if you are able to offer your assistance- thank you. All proceeds will be split between the children’s GREENS! account, towards new books and

Is your Child entitled to a free computer?If your child is aged between 7 and 14 and entitled to free school meals you can apply for a computer under the Government’s Home Access Scheme. Mrs K – Get Well Soon!Unfortunately our Mrs K is not very well. She is expected back at school in two to three weeks time. We have all sent her our regards and wish her a speedy recovery!
