“Che had a hunger to explore the world” , so he embarked on a 2,800 mile solo trip through rural Argentina with a bike that he had installed a small motor in.

Then, in 1951 , he embarked on a nine month, 5,000 mile journey through South America.

Guevara was moved in Chile by people that had no blankets he described them as “the shivering flesh-and-blood victims of capitalist exploitation”.

Che was impressed by some of the people in a Leper colony describing them as “The highest forms of human solidarity and loyalty arise among such lonely and desperate people.”
