What is Soaring Leap?Eric Whitacre’s Soaring Leap is a dynamic, one-day workshop for singers, conductors and composers. The day includes reading, rehearsing and performing several of Eric’s works for chorus (a cappella and accompanied). Singers will be invited to explore the music, digging deep into the poetry and compositional tools. Soaring Leap is a challenging, inspiring, and exhilarating day, filled with laughter and passion. The day comprises of two three-hour sessions with a one hour break in the middle for lunch and refreshments.
