SAT applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria.
Citizenship
Applicants must be nationals of the EU and Asian Countries concerned: Cambodia, China,
Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and targeted by SAT project. They can apply to a university of a different Continent, only.
No intra-European or intra-Asian mobility can be funded under EM projects.
EU 12 months rule
Applicants who by the time of the call have been residing or carrying out their main study or work activities in Europe for a period exceeding 12 months -even merging different stays- over last five years before the call deadline, are not eligible to apply. This rule does not apply to TG 3 candidates.
EM Scholarship holders
Applicants who have been formerly granted cannot benefit twice from an EM scholarship in the same project or for the same type of mobility under Erasmus Mundus Action 2.
All kind of applications:
• Academic results verified through official documentation (CV and transcripts of records or diplomas)
• Language skills, should comply to the requirements of the host institution and / or programme
• (Certification or self evaluation with on line tools)
• Motivation and impact of mobility on Innovation and sustainable development (letter of motivation on two questions)
• Letters of reference/recommendation (where applicable).
Undergraduate and master students
• Curriculum and Academic achievements (CV, academic records, degree certificate)
• Learning agreement (signed at least by the home institution)
• Language skills (University certification, ALTE, IELTS, TOEFL)
• Motivation and impact on sustainable development (letter of motivation)
PhD and Post-doc
• Academic relevance and scientific achievements (CV, academic titles, publications)
• Project proposal (study/ research programme, possibly related to Thematic Clusters )
• Language skills
• Motivation and impact on sustainable development (letter of motivation)
• Letters of recommendation (where applicable)
• Letter of support / invitation from the Supervisor of the hosting University
Academic staff
• Teaching and/or working experience (CV, Language proficiency, etc.)
• Work or research plan
• Pre-Acceptance letter of the hosting institution
