ERASMUS + KA229 PROJECT “We are different, we are same, a project about
diversity” - Codice : Cod. 2018-1-SE01-KA229-039094_3 3rd ADDITIONAL BILATERAL LEARNING/TEACHING/TRAINING -Crotone 8th - th September 2019
The 3rd ADDITIONAL BILATERAL LEARNING/TEACHING/TRAINING was held in Crotone from 8th to 12th
September 2019, as requested by Slovak Partner School , because the members of the Slovak group missed
their flight when we had our first meeting in Crotone, Italy, in October 2018.
So we decided they should try to come later, otherwise they would miss an important part of the project
soul, giving the Slovak the opportunity to visit Italy in September 2019 instead. They worked with a similar
program as we did last fall.
The topics of the meeting were:
1. CULTURE
2. INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE
3. CROSS – CULTURAL CHALLENGES
4. INTERCULTURAL PARTY
The main agenda items were:
08/11/2019
Arrival of the guests. The Slovak group was welcomed at “Ostello Casa di Chiara”by the project coordinator
Ms Ornella Pegoraro and Mr Alberto Curcio, Member of the Erasmus+ team.

Welcoming words by the Interculture, Bullying, Cyberbullyng, Drug Addiction Coordinator, Ms
Vincenza Pellegrino: “Culture, interculture and educational relationships”; she addressed a most
cordial greeting to all partners, pointing out that their participation, which honors us very much, is
also a clear indication of sensitivity and attention, with respect to issues of great importance such
as the "relationship with the OTHER", the "different from me", the foreigner, or another human
being whose characteristics are different from ours but, who has his own past and experience.
It is at school that people with different origins, histories and traditions have the opportunity to
meet each other, learn to know each other and integrate themselves in a social context that goes
beyond the differences, in which everyone considers belonging to the same territory, looking at a
common future.
She underlined that 2030 Agenda calls us into question and invites us to "Form the future citizen"
and in this direction UNESCO identifies universal goals necessary for "Educating for global
citizenship".
