Bio

Channeling female R&B powerhouse vocalists like Toni Braxton and PattiLabelle, Era’Nay’s songs preserve a classic sound while adding a freshvulnerability that is reminiscent of modern artists like H.E.R. Era’Nay’sunique perspective as a young woman navigating life comes through loudand clear in her songs, despite her introspective nature. She writescandidly about love and loss, questioning every thought and belief, to openthe window for her most authentic self to shine through.

Era’Nay, born Eryn Williams, grew up as thedaughter of prominent preachers in the

Louisville area. Her parents are well knownfor their assistance with the developmentof Gospel music for many churches in the

region. They supported Era’Nay’s interest inmusic from a young age, as she was singing

by age 4, and went on to play severaldifferent instruments in her school’s

marching band. At age 16, Era’Nay beganpreaching at her church, and while she

loved preaching, her desire to explore musicand songwriting became undeniable.

Era’Nay began working with Carter's MusicGroup by age 21, at which time she decidedto put preaching on hold in pursuit of her

dream to become an artist. While this was adifficult decision for Era’Nay, her values

form the foundation of every song that shewrites, as she continues to have a strongrelationship with God and the church.
