My Smart Goals

To pursue my passion in the medical field.

To follow the same foot steps as my mother did, she

became an ER Nurse.

From high school I am going to a 2 year college and then

transferring to a four year to finish my bachelors and then

my masters (Total - 6 years)

I am enrolling to an EMT school as well to gain the extra

training I need.

To maintain my grades and to pursue my passion

throughout high school and after.

The Obstacles to overcome would be the training and medical school, but I‘m

confident and determined to pursue my passion, to become an ER Nurse.

Upcoming Obstacles

• In the medical field, it is competitive

• Along the ways I may need to attend pre-med school.

• During pre-med school I will come across many tests

as well the great amounts of work.

• My characteristics that will help me overcome my

obstacles are;

-I'm very confident, and determined to pursue my

passion.

One of a Kind Interview

Joanne Hawks; ER Nurse.-How she started: She started as an EMT and worked her way up to an ER Nurse.

-Her life experiences: She came across all sorts of crazy and scary but yet normal people through the years.

-A little preparation saying she gave me: She said that the self pride and the gratitude of helping another person is the best. You will always love doing your passion.

-Negative effects: She said it is hard at times, when you need to excuseyourself and go to the quiet room to compose your self.

Giving back to the community

• For 4 years I have worked for a rescue company along

with family and close family friends.

• After completing my EMT school, I will donate my time

to help out with the American Red Cross and American

Heart Association.

• My passion is to help, so my career allows me to give

help with the correct medical training.

My Reflection

• I came to realize by researching in depth, that my career is

my passion.

• With high school it prepares us to overcome the obstacles

later on in life.

• The determination that I have to pursue my passion has

helped me overcome many obstacles.

• As I was creating this presentation I came across a career

change to an ER Nurse instead of an ER Physician.
