Such electronic evidence may include inputted text, electronic files, images, resumes, assessment, etc. An ePortfolio is a Personal Learning Environment to capture and display a learning record that is student created, maintained and accessible for future use. The ePortfolio Tab in Blackboard may only be viewed by students if the instructor or degree program chooses to use it. The instructors will determine what assignments need to place inside the ePortfolio. To access the ePortfolio: 1. Click on the ePortfolio Tab on the top of your Blackboard homepage. 2. Click on the ePortfolio Link.

Accessing the Student ePortfolio

An ePortfolio is digital portfolio which is a collection of electronic evidence stored and managed on the web. Such electronic evidence may include inputted text, electronic files, images, resumes, assessment, etc. An ePortfolio is a Personal Learning Environment to capture and display a learning record that is student created, maintained and accessible for future use.

The ePortfolio Tab in Blackboard may only be viewed by students if the instructor or degree program chooses to use it. The instructors will determine what assignments need to place inside the ePortfolio.

To access the ePortfolio:

1. Click on the ePortfolio Tab on the top of your Blackboard homepage.

2. Click on the ePortfolio Link.

3. The Portfolio Home Page will open. To access your ePortfolio, click on the link to the portfolio in the right column which will be linked to your degree. (Enlargement below)

4. The portfolio opens to the home page. Use the buttons on the right to access different pages of the template.

5. To add content to a portfolio, select portfolio or page and click on Add Content.

6. To add a page, click on the Add New Page. 7. To edit, click on the Edit option. To delete the page click on the Delete.

8. If you choose to edit the page, click on the edit button and you will see the following textbox:

This textbox is very similar to the edit options you have in Microsoft Word.

On the third row of the editing tools, note the following options:

1. The chain link adds external links to portfolio and adds new pages.

2. The paper with the green arrow is a button to attach Word Documents, PowerPoint Presentations, and other files.

3. The picture with the tree attaches pictures.

4. The anchor inserts/edits anchors.

5. The reel embeds media files (such as video files).

6. The table with the pencil adds a table to the document.

7. At the end of the row, the smiley face inserts emoticons.

Adding a Picture on Your Profile

1. Click on the Settings to add a picture.

2. Click on Change Image and Browse your computer to find a picture. Double click on file and it

will upload picture.

Linking Pages to Your ePortfolio

To add a new page, link to an existing page, or link to an external website: 1. Click on the link button in the editor box (shown below with the arrow) and then choose the

appropriate option.
