Garibaldi Secondary School is pleased to continue offering our grade 8 laptop pod for incoming September 2012 students.

Students wanting to participate in the laptop pod will bring their own laptop to school and they will be placed

in a pod where students use technology and the tools available on a laptop to complete much of their academic work.

Students in the E-PoD will meet the same learning outcomes as students in regular pods.

Students in E-POD will:

• be able to access assignments from anywhere

• collaborate with classmates on assignments using various web tools

• submit assignments electronically

• use web tools to stay organized

Space in E-POD is limited, so please return this registration form to GSS by February 29th, 2012.

Handing in this form does not guarantee registration at GSS.

You will be contacted about a parent meeting to be held in March upon acceptance.
