1. Prerequisites

Hardware requirements:

Supports all versions of Apple IPAD, OS 5.0 and above.

EPM Unwired 2.0 or Higher

SAP Business Planning and Consolidation for Netweaver 10.0 SP06 or higher

2. Package Deployment

1. Create BSP Application a. Run T-code SE80

b. Select type “BSP_Application” and Input BSP App name as you like. In this example, “ZDEMOTEST”

was used.

c. Continue creation and save it as local object

d. Ensure the WebDAV service has been properly installed & configured

e. Start WebDAV Client (free WebDAV Client such as Cyberduck, Bitkinex) to connect to the MIME

Repository supplying below URL & your environment Logging credential ,

http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp_dev/ f. Take Cyberduck as an example, you will then be able to see the MIME Repository in your local work

place like this,

g. Choose the BSP Application Folder which you just created, right click and choose upload.

h. Select the full merged package (again bpcmako.html shall be in the root folder) in step 3, confirm

to start upload.

i. In the circumstance that WebDAV service is not supported, you will have to upload files one by one

in portal (Not recommended).

j. After uploaded, you will be able to access the page via the link below,

http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/<BSP App Name>/bpcmako.html k. If above link is not accessible, please go to STEP2. Else, go to STEP3.

2. Activate Service a. Run T-code SICF

b. Select Hierarchy Type “Service” and click “Execute” button (Press F8)

c. Right click service node “/default_host/bc” and select “Activate Servcie”

d. Please select 2nd yes

e. You should be able to access the web content through the URL below. Here BSP App Name is the

one you created in previous step. In our case, it is “ZDEMOTEST”. File name is the web index page

you want to open. In BPC Mobile case, it is “bpcmako.html”

3. Create Alias URL a. Run T-code SICF

b. Select Hierarchy Type “ALIAS” and click “Execute” button (Press F8)

c. Right click service node and choose “Create External Alias”

d. Enter the short URL you want to use then go to “Trg Element” tab

e. Double click your BSP app node under “/default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap” and click “Save”

f. Now you should be able to access the short URL as below

3. How to make a BPC live report available in EPM Unwired 2.0 A BPC user needs to logon to BPC web client, go to Library, and create a folder named “mobile” (case insensitive) directly under Public or Private (or both) directory. Any reports and input forms in mobile folder will be visible in EPM Unwired. Move the live report out of mobile folder if you no longer want to see it in EPM Unwired.

4. How to configure BPC connection in EPM Unwired 2.0

1. After logging on to EPM Unwired application, click the configuration icon at the right-top of the Home screen.

2. The first configuration item is EPM Connection. Click Configure.

3. Turn on Save Passwords. 4. You need to enter the Server URL, User Name, Password and Auth URL under Planning

and Consolidation Reports.

Notice

1. Server URL is the URL mentioned in section 2.3. It should look likehttp://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/<BSP App Name>/bpcmako.html

2. Auth URL is http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/ 3. User Name and Password are your BPC user name and password.

5. Limitations Only reports and Input Forms (aka read-only and imputable live reports) are supported.

Workspaces, Dashboards and Books are not supported. They are not visible if you put them under a mobile folder of Library.

Unable to change context of a live report in EPM Unwired.

Unable to edit the live report in EPM Unwired. It can only be done in web client.

Connecting to multiple BPC environments or switching environment in EPM Unwired 2.0 is not supported. The environment you connect to in EPM Unwired is the environment you logged on last time to BPC web client.

Not like the live report in web client where you can expand (drill-down) any parent node and its children can be received from server, in EPM Unwired 2.0 BPC report, you cannot do live drill-down, but a drill-down will members available in the report. The criteria Children of allows one-level drill-down and criteria Descendants of allows full-level drill-down. Criteria base members of is not supported.
