Essbase Plus is the leading online analytical processing (OLAP) serveravailable today. Essbase Plus provides an environment for rapidlydeveloping custom analytic and enterprise performance management(EPM) applications that is managed by business users. Engineered forscalability, security, and rapid-response, Essbase Plus brings analytics tothe business user and enables the business to quickly model complexbusiness scenarios. Through an intuitive interface, business users canmanipulate large data sets to model complex scenarios, forecastoutcomes, and perform what-if analyses to identify trends and optimizebusiness results. With Hyperion Planning Plus, you can meet your immediatefinancial planning needs while enabling a platform for future cross-functional expansion and automated process integration.


● WebLogic Server Standard Edition may only be used to host J2EEor Java application logic that is distributed as part of HyperionPlanning Plus.

● This restricted-use license of WebLogic Server Standard Editiondoes not support HTTP Session or Servlet clustering functionalitywithin WebLogic Server (as WebLogic Server Standard Edition doesnot include clustering). While the included restricted use version(SE) of WebLogic Server’s servlet engine is restricted to be notclusterable, Hyperion Planning Plus applications can be clusteredeven when deployed on WebLogic Server SE using the HyperionPlanning Plus application’s clustering and state replicationmechanisms that are distinct from HTTP Session or Servletclustering.

Hyperion Operational Planning enables the alignment of keyoperational planning processes with financial planning to provide acommon perspective across financial and operational plans. Itaddresses a range of high-value planning processes, such as demand-supply alignment, product allocation and integrated revenue planning,which are supported poorly with spreadsheet tools today. The solutionis based on an innovative change-based data modeling engine thatallows rich cross-functional modeling and interactive business impactanalysis at an enterprise scale. It complements existing financial andsupply chain planning systems by linking these functional plans intoan integrated business planning framework. This allows planners acrossbusiness functions to change operational assumptions, re-evaluateplanning scenarios, assess business impact, and rapidly update theplan of record.

Each Computer license islimited to support the use of up to 8 CPUs and each Computer license must be licensed inincrements of 8 CPUs. Each core is recognized as a CPU. For computers that have morethan 8 CPUs, additional Computer licenses must be purchased based upon the amount ofCPUs that you are using. For example, if you are using Hyperion Data IntegrationManagement on 12 CPUs, you need to purchase 2 Computer licenses; if you are usingHyperion Data Integration Management on 17 CPUs, you need to purchase 3 Computerlicenses.

These programs may be used solely in connection with moving data into and out of aHyperion Data Store(s) (data/metadata repository(ies) delivered with the Hyperionprograms.) These programs may not be used to extract data from a non-Hyperion Data
