Intro

The Valkyries come to Asgasd lead by Brunhilde with the purpose of helping Thor,but will they be able to set apart their differences with the Champion of Asgard?

From Episode 8 Past Deeds

Loki - I have new instructions to give you

Anaxenite *her voice is strong and calm* Im all ears Loki.

Loki Good. My army has grown strong and powerful Im very pleased, for that I

think its time for you to go after the Valkyries. My father took Thors side, and Ineed to diminish his power not to mention to keep him busy.

Anaxenite *her voice is low and would provoke chills in any mortal* Cant wait tostart. What are your orders My Lord?

*A sequence of images can be seen.*

*Anaxenite in full armour, carrying her swords, chocolate brown hair cascading down

her shoulders, her big green eyes cold, her expression closed, shes surveying thegreat hall of Vahalla.*

*In Asgard, houses, carts and tents are set on fire, people screaming and running.*

*Thousands of soldiers invade the hall of Valhalla.*

*The Valkyries retaliate, but Anaxenites soldiers spare no one.*

Anaxenite Lunt! Those ones *referring to the Valkyries who werecaptured*...dont kill them, they are to be sold. *smiles evilly*

*Battlefield covered with bodies, both Lokis soldiers and Valkyries.*

*Anaxenite accompanied with some soldiers with torches in hands.*

Anaxenite To the stables! Burn them to the ground!! I want those flying horses

for a barbecue!

*At nightfall, from a distance the city of Asgard can be seen glowing with fire.*

***End of Montage***

*******************************************************************

*All is strangely quiet on the battlefield. Thor is surveying the site. Bodies from both

sides litter the ground. A cold wind comes from the west. The smell of snowpermeates the land, which is unseasonable for this time of year.*

Thor to one of his generals - Collect as many bodies as possible, and place them

in a pile. No time to identify them all.

General - Yes my lord.

Thor - Once in a pile burn the bodies. I mean them all. Friend or foe. We cannot let

them spoil the land.

General - I will gather a team to do so at once sire!

Thor to himself - Brother what are you up to? You let your men fall, and for noreason. Has to be something more to his game!

*Men are dispatched and start collecting the bodies. It takes a full day to carry out

the task assigned by Thor.*

*******************************************************************

***Present Times***

*Cut to the Great Hall at Valhalla. The Chief Valkyrie Brunhilde overlooks the

battlefield in the distance. Even this far she sees the destruction. Smoke billowing

into the sky. Karts broken or catapults destroyed. Beasts and bodies lie everywhere.

She calls for her second in command-the Valkyrie Kara.*

Brunhilde - Kara! Come at once!

Kara - Yes my lady. You summoned?

Brunhilde - It is time to collect the worthy, and bring them to the great hall. Take

the Valkyries Eir, Hrund, and Mist with y--- Wait a minute!

*Brunhilde sniffs the air.*

Kara - What is it Hilde?

Brunhilde - The air don't you smell it? A strange frost is present, and it's late

spring. I sense Loki is up to something! I will accompany you.

*The pair leave the hall and gather together with the Valkyries Eir, Hrund, and Mist.

Each mounts their horses and fly to the battle field. Once at the battlefield Brunhilde

points to direct her team of warriors.*

Brunhilde - Start at once before the bodies are burned! Start with the piles first.

Those are the ones ready to be burned! Hurry!

*With great speed the Valkyries are done as they are told. Although it may seem

random us, they select the bravest men, and touch each on the forehead. Theywhisper the phrase, "You are worthy" in the fallen's ears. The spirits leave the bodiesand ascend in the direction of the Great Hall in Valhalla.*

Brunhilde to Kara - Make sure the task is carried out. I must seek Thor at once!

Kara - Will do so Chief!

*Brunhilde mounts her horse in search of the God of Thunder. She finally comes to atent that bares Thor's seal. She stops and goes inside. Thor is spotted at a table

draped by a map plotting out his strategy.*

Brunhilde - My lord!

*Thor turns around and rushes to embrace Brunhilde.*

Thor - Brunhilde! I see you are here to collect those worthy! What a surprise to see

you!

Brunhilde - Thor please call me Hilde. You used to call me that when we wereyounger.

Thor - If you insist. Err... Hilde, tell me what you think. Look at this map. I believe

Loki is planning to invade from the west with the Frost Giants. That's where the cold

air is coming from.

Brunhilde - I sensed it too Thor. That's why I accompanied my warriors to this site.

With so many fallen you need as much help as possible to defend Asgard from Loki's

forces. If Asgard falls, Valhalla maybe next!

Thor - That also is my thinking. I have a strategy laid out. If we--

*Just then a familiar brunet female enters the tent. It's Anaxenite looking somewhatrelieved.*

Thor turns to her - Ana! What news of Joan?

Anaxenite - She seems to be doing better. The priests have given her remedies that

seem to be helping.

*Ana is startled to see the Valkyrie Brunhilde in the tent.*

*Brunhilde is not pleased with the unexpected appearance of AnaXenite.*

Brunhilde - You!

*She flashes a glare at Thor*

Thor - Why are you surprised? You know she's the Champion of Asgard! She is hereto help defend the realm!

Anaxenite - I don't need defending Thor! I paid my dues and earned my right to behere Brunhilde!

Brunhilde - You are right, but I may never forgive you for what you have done! You

crippled us! It was until recently that replenished our herd of horses. I have all, butgiven up the protest to Odin. He seems to be steadfast behind Thor. The stubborn

old fool!

Thor - Hilde please! Enough of this blasphemy!

Anaxenite - I know of my past deeds Hilde! *Ana says mockingly.* For much I amsorry for, but I can't change the past! You know Thor, I don't need to hear this fromher!

*As Anaxenite starts to leave Thor takes her hand.*

Thor - Ana, please stay.

*Ana looks back at Thor and Thor looks back at Ana momentarily forgetting that

Brunhilde is in the tent with them. Ana finally leaves.*

Brunhilde - I can't believe it!

Thor - Believe what?

Brunhilde - You are falling in love with her aren't you?

Thor - I have no time for this nonsense Hilde! Jealousy does not become you.

*Thor returns to his map.*

Thor - So will you help us or not? If not, I request you leave at once. There is muchto do.

*******************************************************************

*Anaxenite comes back to the temple where Joan is. Joan is awake and sees Anagetting in with an anguished expression.*

JoanAna, whats wrong?

Anaxenite No matter what I do there are some things I did that cannot bechanged. And I dont want them to interfere now.

Joan Care to explain?

Anaxenite The Valkyries came to help us in the battle.

JoanThats great. We need all the backup we can find after all.

Anaxenite Yes. But I did really nasty things to them Joan. And now we arefighting on the same side and they dont trust me. Oh and that Brunhilde shes quite

a mouth full, a little more focus would do her some good.

Joan Who is Brunhilde?

Anaxenite - The Chief of the Valkyries. I dont blame her for the grudge on me, I

can be quite a heartless b**** but she could separate the waters a little bit, or try toat least. This is too damn serious to lean on the pastits time to join forces. Well

hope somehow she can see beyond what I was at the timeWhat about you, howyou feeling?

Joan *stands* - Just fine, see?

Anaxenite *smiles* - I can see that!

JoanIn fact I am going to fight with you.and no arguing AnaI want to be there

for you, I hate feeling like this, useless.

AnaxeniteYoure never useless. I just worry too much about you. You became

very good with the bow and the Boleadoras.

Joan And that thanks to who huh?

AnaxeniteThanks to yourself. *at Joans skeptical face adds* I only guided you.You cant teach a pig how to fly, now can you? Youre natural Joan and Im very

proud of you. *putting a hand over Joans shoulder.*

Joan Werent for you I would probably be some slave in a filthy hole right now. Sodont ever say again you didnt have a heart.

***Flashback***

*Its morning Anaxenite is scouting the surroundings of her camp on her

hourse.* Its a beautiful day and Ana relishes in the sight that surrounds her.*

*Suddenly she hears screams and carefully approaches the area from where thetumult comes.*

*Dismounts her horse near some shrubs and hides herself behind a big tree, she

sees at a distant a group of men carrying peasant girls, probably from a near

village. But something else catches her attention a huge man probably theleader is dragging a young girl by her hair while she screams.*

Peasant girl Please no, let me go.

Warlord *laughs* - Not before I have my fun.

*He starts ripping her clothes off, but she fights back hindering his moves andwith this he punches her on the face.*

Female voice - Like beating up women do you?

*He turns back, but sees no one.*

*Anaxenite jumps down from a tree*

Anaxenite Well Im one what are you waiting for?

Warlord How dare you!?

*He charges at her lunching a punch. Ana grabs his hand and twists his fist. Hescreams in pain. With his other hand he tries to grab her, she catches the other

hand to and kicks him in the gut making him lose his balance and stumble. Hesreally pissed now, gets up, and grabs a sword.*

AnaxeniteI see you still didnt get it did you? *unsheathes one of her swords

lazily*

Warlord Get what?

Anaxenite *looking at the blade of her sword* - That you cant beat me.

*Hes pissed with what she said, her attitude and because no one has ever

humiliated him like, well no woman as that. He strikes with all the strength he

has, but hes unfocused with rage and with this Ana doesnt even need to break asweat to deflect his blow, disarming him in the process.*

Warlord Who are you?

Anaxenite - Anaxenite, *his eyes widen in shock* rings a bell? *mockingly*

WarlordLord Lokis general!

Anaxenite Thats right.

Warlord Didnt know Lord Loki cared about peasants. What interest would he

have in all of this?

Anaxenite None. *of his questioning look* But I do, and right now its me you

have to worry about. Too bad youre not really a challenge, spoils all the fun, butdo what?You know I dont have time for this, for your own sake get away fromhere and take your scum with you *indicating his warriors*.

Warlord I dont care who you are, no one talks to me like that, especially not awoman!

Anaxenite *twists her nose* You really do have a problem with womendontcha? *mockingly* What momma treated you bad during childhood orsomething?

*The warlord calls his men.*

Warlord to his men Kill her!!

Anaxenite hmm I might have some fun after all.

*The warlords men attack Anaxenite, she spares with several at the same time

using her both swords now. She deals with the situation like a daily exercise,knocking the soldiers down while the peasant girl she has just saved watches with

amazement.*

Anaxenite I was just following my instincts.

Joan Which says a lot about you.

*******************************************************************

*Thor gathers his men to engage in battle. In the distance, reinforcements for Loki'sarmies march closer to the city. Thor looks on expecting to see the Frost Giants. Ana

and Joan join Thor on the hillside overlooking the battle.*

Anaxenite to Thor - So they come. Those giant beings must be the frost giants.

Joan - Those are the frost giants? They don't look so tough!

Thor - Those aren't the frost giants. They're typical mountain trolls. Loki must have

other plans for them that I can't for the life of me figure out.

Joan - Thor, I thought the Valkyries were going to help us. No?

*When the warlord sees that this fight is of no use orders his men to retreat,and they all leave with him, well the men who could still move as that.*

*The peasant girl approaches Anaxenite carefully.*

Peasant girl to Anaxenite That was incredible.

Anaxenite What this? *pointing a sword to the fallen men* You kidding meright? You all right? *looks her over* No big damage, good, Im on the move

then. *heads towards the place where she had left her horse*

Peasant girl *follows her* Wait!

Anaxenite *looks at her* - What is it?

Peasant girl Can you teach me how to fight? Please I want to know how to

defend myself and my family.

Anaxenite This is not for you, go home and take the other girls with you to

safety. *gets on her horse*

Peasant girl *shouting* - By the way my name is Joan! Thank you for yourhelp! *keeps looking after Ana until shes out of sight.*

***End of flashback***

Thor - That Brunhilde is a hard-headed woman! She left with her warriors soon after

they collected "the worthy." Left the rest of the poor souls to hell!

Anaxenite - It is because of me that she won't help us.

Thor - It's not because of you. It's because of me. Unrequited love has gotten the

best of her. But enough about that, we have more pressing matters.

Anaxenite - What would you have us do my lord?

Thor - I want you and Joan to stay back and defend the city with your men. I simplycannot stay idle. I must go on ahead and engage Loki's forces on my own.

*Thor flings his hammer with great force that he is airbourne.*

Anaxenite - Thor wait!

Joan - It's too late he's gone!

Anaxenite - Then we must do as he says. Let's go. Gather our troops to defend the

city. Are you ready Joan?

Joan - I most certainly am my lady. With my trusty bow and boleadoras!

*Joan notices Ana is looking on in the direction of where Thor went.*

Joan - What's the matter Joan?

Anaxenite - I have a strange feeling about this.

Joan - The battle? Everything will be okay. You'll see!

AnaXenite - No, not the battle.

Joan - Then what then? *Joan follows Ana's stare.* Geez, don't tell me you'reconcern about him. The god of thunder? Really? He can take care of himself Ana you

must put your personal feelings aside.

Anaxenite - I have a feeling something is going to happen to him. If he falls so will

Asgard.

*******************************************************************

*Right before Thor engages Loki's forces he stops to head them off. He spins hishammer to create large snow banks to act as barriers so as to protect his men from

anything that maybe hurling their way. Thor takes flight again and flies head on intothe invading forces. He hurls himself into the trolls marching in front to knock them

over. Thor yells and speaks to the soldiers.

Thor - Stop marching! Don't you see what's going on? Loki is leading you to your

death! You're not marching into glory, you're marching into Hell! You simply cannotwin!

*Just in front of him a form takes shape.*

Why do I see defeat in your eyes already if the battle hasnt even started?

Fear no shame about it, I have fear as wellShame relies only when you dont face

that fear, while your families in there *points to the city walls* are counting on youto protect them! Fight not for the gods, because, they do not know what the fear of

loss is, we perish and they go on for eternity. Fight not just in the name of gloryeither, you can win it in a day, and lose it in the following one. But fight for

yourselves; for them your wives, your children because they are the trueprolongation of the glory mankind pursues!

Im here for you in every step of the way, fighting by your side, guiding you, but I do

NOT tolerate the spirit of defeat when you have not even started!

Every time you think youve lost, that you have no way out, think about them, andyou will find your strength renewed.

*******

Joan to Anaxenite Think it worked?

AnaxeniteI dont know, hope so. Lets instruct them now. *Joan nods*

*Ana and Joan give orders to the soldiers and prepare the defenses around the cityswalls.*

Anaxenite Joan, think you can hold the tips around here for a little while?

Joan Why? Where are you going?

Anaxenite These men will need more than words for the battle to come.

Joan What are y?

*Joan doesnt have time to ask Ana whats shes going to do, Ana is already on themove.*

*******************************************************************

*In an open field, the Valkyries are preparing their horses.*

Brunhilde Hurry up Valkyries, we have to leave!

Female voiceYou aint going anywhere!

Brunhilde *turns back* - What the? You! What are you doing here *spitting outthe words* Champion of Asgard?

Anaxenite *in a tone of realization* Youre just not hard-headed. Youre aspoiled brat! People will die and all you care about is your own interests!?

Brunhilde What do you care about those people you murderer! What all of a

sudden youre miss goody-two-shoes of the year? All for what, get Thors blessing

and have a god wrapped around your little finger?

Anaxenite What I did to you and your people in the past was awful, but what

youre about to do wont be less harmful.

*Anaxenite turns her back to leave*

Anaxenite *without turning back*- I wont let Asgard fall, nor Thor, I may a mortal

but I wont allow that.

*By the mention of Thors name Brunhilde stops what shes doing but doesnt say a

thing. Anaxenite leaves*

*******************************************************************

*Back at the gates of Asgard, Joan, Anaxenite and her army wait for the outcome.*

*At a distance an army materializes, Amora at his head.*

*Amora dematerializes to reappear in front of Ana.*

AmoraFinally Im going to have the satisfaction ofwatching you falling along with

this city.

Anaxenite Dont think youre going to be any different Amora, one mistake Amorajust one failure and Loki will discard you immediately.

AmoraUnlike you I dont fail. *disappears with a grin*

Anaxenite We will see about that.

*******************************************************************

Amora Attack!!

*The ground starts to tremble, and war cries along with abnormal screams coming

from abominable creatures are heard.*

Anaxenite Hold your posts on the walls!

Prepare for attack!!

*While Joan is with the soldiers that stayed over the walls of the city, Thors soldiersled by Anaxenite charge at Lokis army.*

*The trolls take down several soldiers at the same time with their superstrenght.*

*After taking down several soldiers, Ana attacks the trolls one by one, to diminishthe enemys power. She somersaults over them and comes down with her swordsbeheading and mutilating them.*

*Amora sees this and her eyes widen in alarm. Anaxenites words echoing in herhead:

Dont think youre going to be any different Amora, one mistake Amora one failureand Loki will discard you immediately.*

Amora Kill her!! I want the champion of Asgard down NOW!!

*Ten of Lokis soldiers charge at Ana, who had just killed several trolls.*

*At the bottom ofthe citys walls Lokis soldiers with the help of trolls mount ladders

on the walls and climb.*

Joan Now!!

*With this Thors archers shoot at the invaders trying to get into the city while someother soldiers spill enormous iron pots of boils oil over the invading solders and

trolls.*

*Ana fights the soldiers ordered by Amora with all her might never losing focus.*

Anaxenites to her soldiers For your families! *slices another soldiers chest with

a war cry*
