The journey to a fulfilling life includes forgiveness.

Ho’oponopono is a forgiveness prayer in Ancient Hawaiian Huna.

This is a modified version to support you in your forgiveness

practice. Regardless of who or what you need to forgive, this

powerful prayer can help you to forgive and then move forward.

Repeat this process daily until the emotional charge dissipates

and you move closer to neutrality.

WHO DO WE FORGIVE?

HOW TO FORGIVE?

Those who have hurt us

Stop activating the neural networks — meaning don’t bring it up again. This is the most difficult component of forgiveness

and requires the most repetition.

There are three parts to forgiveness:

Making the decision to forgive. This is the easiest step.

Letting go of the negative emotions about the event and the people involved. This can be challenging.

Those we love

Those who are no longer in our lives whether due to death, divorce, disagreements

Unconscious Mind, I acknowledge that the wrongs I experience begin with

the conscious and unconscious beliefs and expectations I hold about myself,

others, and the world, and the decisions I make as a result.

I acknowledge that when I improve my beliefs and expectations, I will gradually

make more and more decisions that align my life experience with those

improved beliefs and expectations.

With this knowledge, I now request you permanently and completely clear,

cleanse, purify, and release all negativity and unwanted energy and their

manifestations relating to (person and the related events) at the deepest

unconscious levels, and transmute all energies into pure, positive energy and

focus that energy to assist me in adopting beliefs and expectations that will

support me in achieving my desired outcomes.

I ask that this be Done, and it is Done!

As I release and set free,

I am in turn released and set free.
