Created for practitioners from diverse healthcare fields and with varying levels of experience, this Teaching and Assessment for Nursing and Allied Health Educators online programme of courses will enhance the quality of clinical education. 10. Discuss the different types of assessment in clinical settings, including OSCEs, simulation and gaming activities

11. Examine ways to provide targeted and effective feedback, and utilise decision-making as a tool.

Looks at how nursing and allied health educators should involve patients in the teaching process in order to enhance learning and inspire students. Participants will understand the value of patients in the learning process, how to prepare students and patients for the teaching and learning encounter, and how best to facilitate both planned and unplanned learning (including peer and interprofessional learning) and record-keeping.
