Epifan settlement is a “capital” and “entry gate” to the Kulikovo field. It is a small typical provincial district city with more than 400-years history located on the bank of the Don River. Having strong merchant traditions and links with Cossak’s culture it offers the unique opportunity to experience the spirit and history of real Russian province.

In the middle of August, on the eve of the Savior of the Honey Feast Day (Medovy Spas) “Kulikovo Polye” museum hosts the Annual Trade & Crafts Fair. Many folk dancing and singings troupes, craftsmen and farmers from the cities and villages of the Don river basin come to the Red Square of Epifan settlement. On the open air trade rows there will be a big choice of traditional Russian craft and art items, works of applied and decorative art.

Epifan Fair is a good opportunity to discover Russian history, culture and traditional Russian spirituality. You will enjoy Cossack’s folk singing and dancing, participate in the authentic games and entertainments, explore a wide range of craftsmen’s products, taste Russian medovuha (original Russian strong honey drink). The day would be culminated with a beautiful firework.Come and explore the original national culture and peculiarity of Russia.
