Epicor
An important and significant task in any ERP migration or upgrade
project is moving the business data from the legacy system to the
new ERP system. It also can be a laborious and time consuming
process. To help simplify and speed up the process Epicor offers
three tools for extracting and importing data into Epicor ERP. Further,
the tools help ensure data accuracy and integrity through the
migration process as well.
Epicor Data Extraction Tool
The Data Extraction Tool is for customers that are on an Epicor
iSolution or iScala system. The tool automatically extracts and places
the data in a format that can be easily imported into Epicor ERP.

Epicor Data Management Tool
The Data Management Tool (DMT) enables customers to easily
import data into Epicor ERP. DMT enables users to add, delete or
update data en masse through Epicor ERP’s application business
logic which enforces security and ensures data integrity. Delivered
with DMT are over 60 import templates and additional import
templates can be developed using a included template builder or by
Epicor Consulting.

imports it into a recent version of Epicor ERP. The utility can
significantly reduce the steps and time it normally takes for such a
